A "new" customer is one who has not done any business with the Pinrod Corporation any time in the past. A business customer is "new" only if itself and any of it's parent or subsidiary organizations have not done business with the Pinrod Corporation in the past.
You can't refer yourself. But, we don't care if you refer your mom, dad, sister, brother, wife or dog.
You are responsible to see that the "new" customer tells us you are the referring agent.
Referrals are only good on the "new" customers first purchase.
If we made the first contact, you're out-of-luck. But, if you think that you deserve the referral fee (because you feel you actually worked at selling our product or service), contact us and make your case. The worst we can tell you is "no." When we get paid, you get paid. We cut our checks on or about the fifteenth of the month. When we know that our money is secure by for the first of the month, we will cut you a check that month. Referrals will be paid when the first bill or invoice sent to the customer is paid in full. It is your responsibility to confirm the amount of the bill and when it was paid with the new customer.
We will only cut one check pre referral agent. If you are part of a group referral, its up to you to figure out how to split the cash.
Just because you refer someone, doesn't mean we will be able to meet their needs. We want to serve as many customers as possible, but it can't always be done. Only contacts that result in a sale within the first three months after the initial contact by The Pinrod Corporation are valid.
In order to be used as a referring agent, you must have already been registered with us! The date you registered must predate the "new" customers purchase. You do not have to purchase anything to refer us (to be a referral agent).
It is up to the the new customer to let us know who referred them. We may ask for this information with surveys, but we are not responsible to badger our customers for it. We'll let you do that.
This offer is valid for U.S. citizens only. If you live outside the U.S., we may attempt to give you equivalent value goods (software) or services, but we make no guarantees.
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. If you use SPAM or illegal means to obtain referrals, then the deal is off.
If you happen to live someplace where it is is illegal for you to participate in this program, then you can't.
If any of the these statements are misleading or ambiguous, it was not done on purpose. Any ambiguous statements, no matter what their origin, are intended for the benefit of the Pinrod Corporation and you agree to this by participating in the program.
If you participate in this program, you can not hold the Pinrod Corporation or any of it's officers or representatives responsible for any damages, real or imagined, related to this program.
This is a voluntary program on both our parts. Its just our way of saying "Thank you" for mentioning our name favorably. By participating, you are saying that you will be happy with what you get. You are also saying that if you participate, and you decide to litigate regarding this referral program either in whole or in part, you agree to foot all of our expenses related to that litigation (in whole), including any action we would have to take to enforce this agreement.
If any part of these rules are found to be illegal, only that part shall be invalid.
This referral program is intended to encourage current customers to advertise for us by word-of-mouth. It is not intended as a source of income. Therefore, no gifts that accumulate less than $200 per year will be sent tax reporting forms.
